This is a thread for photos of interesting knife or knife making related photos. They can be anything from dramatic to artsy. Have fun. Lin
I'll start with a couple that the local newpaper photographer took while I was forging here at the museum last week. ![]()

Those are neat shots! You can tell the photographer knew what they were doing. The first shot, IMHO, requires an understanding of exposure and shutter speed and the second shot is nicely composed but it's the creative use of aperture that separates it from the pack. Newspapers all over America have some of the best photography talent that is out there - so many becoming unemployed as the economic woes persist.
As time goes on I bet a great many pictures will be added to this thread Lin. Here are a few of mine looking at the social side of knifemaking. Forging in particular fits right in with the bar-b-q circuit and everything that people do outdoors - picnic - even play music. Hey, if knifemaking isn't fun... Stoking the fire: Hammer therapy: How many of you have had your billet blessed by chanting and the didgeridoo? Work's done - time to play music!

COOL photos! I especially like the "stoking the fire" image showing the reflection in the flame.
