Lightbulb Sharing LARGE digital files?

Hi friends,

I stumbled upon a site which makes it very easy to share large files for download: drop.io (Pronounced 'drop eey oh')

Most of my JPG files range in the 4-10mb range and are easily emailable. (At least to those who have broadband). Beyond 10mb often poses a problem, both from my ISP and potentially from the recipient's ISP limits. (between 10-12mb is about max)

Sharing a TIFF or a PSD file can't be done this way.

I found a site where I can upload, the recipient can download, and the file will soon after be deleted. Free limit is 100mb, I upgraded to 1GB limit for a mere $10 per year. I am certain I will be able to use this more often.

Give this a test. I have (2) Photoshop PSD files on the site now for download. (85mb & 105mb They may be gone in a few weeks beyond my initial post date)

Others may find this helpful also. I know there are many ways to get this done. Share yours.

Thanks,

Coop

Coop, good information. Thanks for sharing. Anyone who transfers large files can use this.
