2012 CKCA Annual Banquet-Meeting-Mini-Show

Our annual CKCA Banquet/Meeting/Mini-Show will take place on Thursday night June 7th at 6:00pm at Maggiano's Little Italy. Please join us for a night of fellowship and great food. It's becoming THE Event to start off a great Blade Show experience.

As usual, we will have a button set up on our website in early March for you to make your reservations. Please do so early as our attendance has increased tremendously each year.

We have a great evening planned including our annual mini-knife show and annual "kick-off" of our 2012 Cancer Research Benefit knife.

instead of early March, Kevin, will the button be up by mid March? Just checking my friend. When it gets up I'll order our tickets and then book our rooms. Just was at the CKG show on Saturday the 10th and have a couple new knives by Paul Savage from his group of 5 test knives.

Murray, it has been decided for april 1st to have the button up on the website.

Well, Mary, it seems that Blade has changed things this year and one can't contact the hotel to book a room and the # the hotel give to contact just has an automated response that is unintelligible except for "Good Bye" (I wondered if it would say -- You're the weakest Link) and the hotel can do nothing (Sheraton Galleria) so unless something changes, it looks like we will not bother trying to come. Hopefully there are enough dissatisfied customers that things will change in the future.

Murray, I booked rooms with the Blade rate of $160/nite at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel (marriott.com) about 30 days ago, without a problem. Might try there, rather than the Sheraton.

Murray, I hope you are able to find a hotel room. When I called in August to reserve a room the Sheraton was booked and there was a few rooms left at the Renaissance.

Hi Mary -- I asked my friend Paul to call the # we were given by Sheraton and that # is inactive. Incredible! We will continue to try something for a bit anyway.

I called this number, Toll-free 1 888 236 2427, on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 and made reservations at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel for the Blade Show. They had rooms available at that time.
