Unusual Damascus Knife
While Don Fogg was living here in Alabama a local maker named Randall Gilbreath learned to make damascus in Don's shop . Just before Randall retired from knife making I asked him to make me something unusual . This knife was the result . When seeing it for the first time , I was not impressed . The fit , finish , and overall craftsmanship was good but I just didn't like the blade style . Since I gave Randall a free hand I felt obligated to take it . I've thought about trying to sell this knife many times over the years but never tryed . Anyway decided to make a couple of homemade pics of it to post . The blade is random , guard and end piece are anodized gold although they have turned a little and need to be shined up some . The spacers and that thing in front of the guard ( I forget what you call it ) are anodized silver . Handle is either stag or elk , I forget which . Thanks for looking -
