Default Malayan Kris Help

For some unknown reason I have been tempted to build an authentic Malayan Kris but am unable to get any photos of the top of the traditional wooden sheath. The only photos that I can find that show the sheath are from the side view. Does anyone have a photo taken from the top view that would help give me an idea of how to shape the top of the traditional sheath?

Thanks in advance.

Gary

Hi Gary.
I don't think I have ever seen a contemporary custom Malayan Kris.
Hope it comes together and will look forward to seeing it.

You never know just how new adventures will come together but I'm looking forward to the challenge. I got the steel layered today and will try to post some pics when the blade is smithed.

BTW: I found some sheath pics that answered my questions about them.
