Rob Brown Boot Knife Fresh from South Africa
I just received this boot knife from South African knifemaker Rob Brown on an order I placed back in 2010, and I thought I would share it here.
The fit and finish are outstanding, and the knife is quite nice in hand. But the buffalo hide sheath is really out of sight! One thing I like is that the blade and handle are wider than I have typically seen on a 5 inch boot knife and this provides a much better fit to my hand, and probably most folks with larger hands.

Rob makes awesome knives fit and finish second to none.
There are several excellent knife makers in SA Gunther Muller being another one and was mentored by Rob which can be seen in his work..

VERY nice indeed. EVERY knife i've seen shown by Rob Brown looks exceptionally well made and this is another!
