Default Walnut Fighter

Not sure how this missed getting posted here, but I hope you enjoy it.
A Crotch Walnut Fighter with laddered Damascus blade and stainless fittings.
This particular "ladder" effect was done entirely with my press drawing dies and power hammer and NOT with direct manipulation of ladder dies or cutting and grinding.
I like the "natural" look sometimes.
Enjoy.

Karl, looking good.
Years ago on my 25pound little Giant I had some drawing dies that were only one inch wide. When I drew down the cutting edge that gave shimmer from spine to edge so on a ladder pattern that sucker would shimmer no matter what direction you looked at. It took awhile to adjust to those narrow dies but once I got the hang of it they sure did quick work of forging.
