For anyone attending Blade Show we need help manning the our Booth in the lobby. The empty white block (time slots) on the chart are crucial. And we will appreciate additional help in the other areas. There's usually always members gathered around the booth, however we need members dedicated to specific times to greet visitors, recruit new members, sell caps/Ts and give general information on our organization. Don't worry if you feel you may have difficulty answering questions as there will be information sheets there and Larry and/or I are usually very close by.
E-mail me if you would like to sign up @ customknifecollectorsassociation@yahoo.com Thank you to those of you who have already signed up.

This isn't the Army! It's okay to volunteer!
Manning the CKCA booth will give members who attend the Bladeshow a nice opportunity for an hours rest.
We have a great organization, but it will only remain strong if the members participate!
5 or 6 members can't carry the load for everyone.
Email Kevin ASAP!!

You are 100% correct Jim. We certainly have enough folks to give Kevin the chance to spend some more time having fun. Besides when I was at the Arkansas show I think I enjoyed spending time at the booth more than anything else. Definitely a good place to rest for awhile. It is certainly the easiest way to meet our fellow members as well as my favorite task, recruiting!

Members
If you have not been to Blade or our booth you don't know what you have missed. Before you leave the show you will be very happy to have spent one hour at the booth. All last year there was four or five members there all the time. It's just that we need to know we will have at least one or two members there for each hour. We have made that comittment to Blade show. So see if a few can't give us just one hour.

Here's an updated schedule. Still a few blocks left to fill.
Of course, if you would like to sign up for blocks already with volunteers, that's OK. The more the merrier.
Thanks guys.

Thanks Jerry and please tell Bob we would appreciate that very much.
Her friendly and enthusiastic personality really makes her a natural for it.
Visitors to our booth at AG's Show lat summer really enjoyed her and boy can she sell raffle tickets.

I shall gladly join in off and on during all three days, without
any advance planning, if that will be okay.
All the best,

Thanks so much for ALL the help manning the booth.
We had a lot of members pitching in and everyone had a great time.
Chuck Kerwin, Jon Klein, Paul Long; we really have some salesmen in this organization.

You're not kidding about the salesmen thing! I just tried to stay out of Paul Long's way, he was very very good.
But then again, it's easy when you have a great organization to sell...
