Darren, I really like the flow of the design you put on this piece. You added a lot to the appeal of this piece.

Darren, ditto to Kevin's comments about the flow of the piece. To me, that's the kind of addition that's perfect when it comes to engraving.

Thanks you for the kind words.
My goal as an engraver is to enhance an already spacial piece.
The engraving need to work with the flow and over all design.
Sometimes it takes just a very little engraving to "set off" the piece.
Sometime the piece screams to have every little space embellished.
It's kind of scary sometimes how a piece will strike me. After all these years engraving
I can visualize almost instantly what will be the best approach to engraving the piece and can see it in my minds eye what the end result will look like. And allot of the time I am pleasantly surprised that it turned out nicer than I envisioned.
