I had a longtime customer ask me to do something a little different with the handle on this one

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

"Rebel Fighter"
9" W2 Blade
just over 3/16 thick at the guard, tapers the full length of the blade down to just over 1/16 at the tip.
very lightweight, balances in the center of the guard.

14 1/8" Overall
Black Canvas Micarta Handle
Textured Handle
Stainless Double Guard

the handle looks a little fat in the palm swell, bottom side. But then again it is hard to see this as a 9" blade as the photo looks a little distorted. A full on side view showing the profile as it sits would help. I'm also a big fan of shots looking down at the spine of the knife and at the sharpened side as well.

Did you follow some kind of pattern for the texturing?

IMO, this is a very functional Tactical Bowie design. I like it a lot, though I agree with Lorien regarding the palm swell. I bet you have a large hand as I have commented on your handle swells before.

I would like the guard a little longer as well. All in all, one of my favorite of your knives to date.

Nice job, thanks for sharing it with us.
