Our CKCA Home Page knife is a project that Phil Lobred and Buster Warenski were working on
when Buster died. Phil had supplied the fossil walrus ivory for it. While visiting at the Solvang Show, Julie Warenski and
Curt Erickson told Phil they found the ivory when they moved so the three of them decided to go forward with creating
this outstanding SF Bowie and sheath. It was inspired by a one of a kind bowie blade made by Michael Price. It's the only
one of this style made by Price. It is shown on page 351 of "The Bowie Knife Book" by Norm Flayderman and on
page126 in "California's Best" by Brad and Brian Whitherell.
A great example of a collector and knifemakers working together to create outstanding Functional Art.
